Artist Statement

"My art is a conversation—between past and present, between viewer and subject, between the personal and the universal. Through charcoal and canvas, I seek to capture not just likeness, but essence. Each stroke is intentional, each shadow deliberate.

I'm drawn to moments of quiet introspection, to the stories written in expressions, to the beauty found in everyday humanity. My work asks viewers to pause, to see, to feel, to remember.

In a world that moves fast, I create slowly. In a culture that often overlooks, I draw attention. Through patience, practice, and persistence, I strive to create work that honors my subjects and resonates with those who encounter it."
